Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the koeterm mobile application ("App") operated by Guide, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

koeterm is an SSH terminal application with optional voice input capabilities. The App allows you to connect to remote servers via SSH and optionally use voice-to-text for command input.

2. Account and Access

koeterm does not require account registration. Your subscription status is managed through your Apple ID or Google Account via the respective app store.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Free tier: SSH terminal with custom keyboard, available at no cost.
Pro tier: Includes voice input powered by server-side speech-to-text. Billed monthly at $8/month through your app store.
A 2-week free trial is available for new Pro subscribers.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation and refund policies are governed by your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
Abuse the voice input service (e.g., automated or excessive requests)
Use the App on rooted or jailbroken devices
Attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we detect abuse.

5. SSH Connections

You are solely responsible for the servers you connect to and the commands you execute. koeterm is a tool; we are not responsible for any actions performed on remote servers through the App.

6. Voice Input Service

The voice input feature uses third-party AI services for speech-to-text processing. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that transcriptions will be error-free. Always review transcribed commands before execution.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS, SERVER DOWNTIME, OR INCORRECT COMMAND EXECUTION.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
